INTRODUCTION COURSE TO PLASTIC MOLD CHANGE TECHNIQUES

Objective of the Course

Reducing downtime in production is one of the most important objectives in the search for efficiency.

This course studies the production change tooling techniques to make operations quick and efficient, thus reducing costs, resource absorption, critical area, with consequent impacts on redundancies and excess inventory and transforming the operations inside the cycle into external and parallel ones.

Starting from the study of the SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) method in line with Lean methodologies, the Lean Plastic® method has developed its technological evolution in a context of full-scale reorganization of cell operations with advanced Lean Plastic® SMEM techniques (Single Minute Exchange of Mold), increasing the classic tools with those specific to the plastic company, able to maximize the impact of the reorganization, also optimizing the physical, technological and process aspects.
